Polaris 570

I'm coming up on a year on mine , no issues with the battery or the heat on the right side. If you wear shorts in the middle of summer your going to feel the heat no matter what.

 

I added the Polaris 2500HD winch , that was so simple my daughter could have done it. It was more money but to me the ease and perfect fit was worth the added cost.

 

Added a kolpin scout storage box , other then having to add a few zip ties to mount it that fit perfect too.

 

All in all , I still think you can't beat this ATV for the money .

So I bit the bullet a few weeks back and bought one to replace my sons Kawi. 360. So far its a great machine but it starts hard when its cold out. Kind of like the battery is weak. I did some research and found out that this is a problem with this model. Took it back to the dealer, less than 2 weeks and 20 miles after the purchase. They found nothing wrong. Battery and system tested fine for them. (of course) The service manager even told me that the batteries they put in these things are "not the greatest". Then he gets all pissy because I wouldn't pay the $29.00 labor fee for them to test the battery and check the thing out!!  L-O F'ing L!!…. What b@lls.  After I made it clear that I wasn't paying anything, (and I wasn't a jerk about it)  He tried laying a guilt trip on me saying how he is losing money..?? What a D!ck!!.I wouldn't have had the nerve to even try to charge a repeat customer that fee………. Maybe its me….

 

Times have changed.

My 2011 500HO did that for 4 years until the battery finally went out. The new battery definitely turns her over faster. I don't know if the sales people are just that arrogant or they act it to try and get more money out of you. Either way they are a great machine and my HO has a ton of low end grunt. I have pulled a good amount of logs out of the woods using that where the tractor can't get too. I love mine and the handling. I also added a 2" lift and it made a huge difference in clearance. I actually got 2 more inches of ground clearance.

 

I added the harbor freight 2500lbs. winch this past winter although I never needed, it is good insurance encase I bite off more than I can chew.

Great machines. I have an 07 700 EFI. I bought it new and other that a torn CV boot, and one battery, I have had zero issues with it.  It is a freaking beast,,,, The 570 has been a great ATV so far, exempt for the battery thing. Rides nice on trails and real good power in a mid sized machine.
