Yea I know it’s going be work and expensive to blacktop They want 450 for the house and 45 acres .. It has oil heat which I don’t like , no ac ,I like the land but don’t know if I want to sink 500k after everything into a house Probably better off waiting for some thing else

It’s mostly up hill... concern is snow blowing or plowing you need to leave a little snow and it turns to ice .. So do I get a salt spreader and mount it on the rear of my tractor ? Got a price for binder and top 28k

Yea this oil boiler also heats the water so I’d either have to install a separate water heater or use the oil and just do a cooling mini split .. I don’t like having tanks full of fuel oil in the basement but .,, Im sure I could convert the furnace to Lp gas and install a water heater then do a heat and cool mini split

Agree... we live in the village now on a 1/2 acre lot .. Im tired of neighbors out every window .. we have forced air gas now with central ac and it’s great. The house I’m looking at is 2000 sf on 45 acres in the country . Oil fired boiler and no ac.. finished basement so ripping the ceilings out for duct work is a no go . Im told with the mini splits I won’t need to run the boiler and the mini splits are tons more efficient to heat and cool . Costs could go to 10k ?? I hate oil and would probably convert the boiler to LP which they have for the dryer and range. I would probably do electric on the dryer .. not a fan of gas dryers .. The house was built in 1999 2x6 walls , Nice big heated detached garage and two car attached .. 450k so I’m trying to see total costs if I add the mini splits and blacktop the 1200 ft driveway

The 243 is a bolt action , scope is a Leupold Bullet is a Winchester 100 grain 100 yards was the last shots As for being under gunned ..I have killed every deer I have shot at with this rifle and most died in their tracks. Others went no more than 40 yards. Shot placement is the key and this thing shoots flat as a pancake !

After mounting new scopes and laser bore sighting and seeing how nice it was ... The 243 was almost dead on at 100 yards with just bore sighting . Small adjustment and it’s perfect ! The wolf took a little more work . I was wet swabbing after every shot . Using Hornaday sabots and 777 pellets.. Finally got it

Plan on spending some time there , it’s basically a museum . Lots of info ..and some very nice knives . Wally is amazing at what he can do . He bought out tons of blades , handles , boxes etc and out the knives together and finished them . He sells a lot on EBay plus makes custom knives for a bunch of places , like Ducks Unlimited , Remington etc

Nice ! A good friend of mine was a designer for Camillus Cutlery . He now makes and sells custom knives and has a shop set up across from the old cutlery . They did knives for movies too like , Indiana Jones , and others I can’t remember the names of . Check out his work and some of the knives he has for sale if you ever get to Camillus
