    So dems dont want ilegals to vote ? So why they bring them here for, for what the cheap slave labor ? Sex trafficing ? Or to help the poor ? O wait what about the Poor in this country ? They cant fix that yet but bring poorer people from other countrys instead to suck off the limited resouces that should be going to americans.

    Personally l like the old 30_06 Or 12 ga for deer hunting but i dont see why a 223 would not do the job especially under 70 80 yards which is what most guys are shooting deer at in new york state . Farther then that if it was me i go with something bigger . You probably want to just empty out the mag with something like a ar anyway I mean that is what they are made for really fast fallow up shots right? 2 or 3 of them i figure = a slug or 30cal bullet .

    Bowmanmike ,Sorry thats all I got think this is same spot diffent angle but im not sure now as this was taken about 2 weeks ago . It looked different in real life WAS looking for tracks but i did not see any . Pretty sure it was deer. But there are bear in this area to .

    Close call but i like gun a little better, Gun because you can hunt in more ways and still be effective with it and at a longer range . I can still hunt track or just site on log with my gun and still kill deer . With the bow i am forced to stay still in a blind or a treestand to be effective with it and the range is limited .

    Thats in my range If i can get everything in one or 2 stops on a road trip its worth it to me I like travel anyway . Like you said they hit you up with high shipping and wait times then I get worried about gun stuff getting damage or stolen in the mail . I order lots of stuff by mail but gun stuff not my cup of tea if i can avoid it .

    One box of primers will last me years probably and I'd say 95% of people that have muzzleloaders the same. I bet you .

    Then there is the problem with shipping dont like or trust shipping gun stuff i rather just go into store pick everthing up at one time . And they jack up the shipping cost for powerd and primers .

    Well the thing is i need everything muzzleloader primers bullets . I looked online all i see is out of stock on everything i want . And you cant get powder or primers out of stock . So i want to just go into a store someplace and buy everything and not have to worry about not getting powder or primers for it before the season .

    Best gun shops that carry muzzleloaders and accessories for muzzleloaders primers powder Etc Any place in the state dont care will travel hours to find what i want .

    Yea there is something about being able to hunt thousands of Acres of land without having to run into private property the few times i hunted up there I loved it .

    On the ride up there I passed by lake George they had some type of biker rally there like Sturgis thousands of motorcycles everywhere .Anybody know more about that .

    I can imagine so what do you think in the winter time are there hunters that climb up the mountains off that road right around there , I wonder . To steep for my old body maybe if i was 20 again lol

    So i took a road trip up to lake placid today and was joking to a friend about this picture being my new hunting spot .And he said i wonder if you can hunt there ? Never hunting the area and dont really know the answer to that I told him . My guess is as long as its not posted otherwise you can hunt there . Am i mistaken . My other question is how's the hunting around Lake Placid area in general .

    He's right for free everyone would at least try fence hunting at least once anyway. I mean you would have to try it to know if you liked it what it was all about anyway really if you think about it.
