I'm wondering how many of you deer hunter's would still go deer hunting,If it were only Doe's that could be hunted istead of Buck's.I would be And enjoying it just the same.

Think what I was trying to say is you cant positivly age a deer by the antler's ,also think later in a deer's life he would'nt allway's have a big or even that many point's.Diet climate genetic's and good conservation is what is nessasary to preserve the herd's that we now have.My question is if you can age a goat by the amount of teeth they have then why not a deer the same way?

Being 45 year's old prob not from here,other than redone the one's that I have looked at are scrap/parts car's.

Iknew that the pinto was ford,My Dad had the pinto wagon.I just like GM and Ford's are junk.Exactly what the El Camino was a car with a tail gate for partying.I do agree that they are useless for work.

It's to bad the season is closed,because they are good eating.You need a fence that is electricly charged and shock there asses.

Not sure if they want to im good with it,I choose what i want to shoot any way's.The amount/size of the antler's do nothing for the age it's not uncommon to see spike's that are 4to5 years old.

The eastern side of the state is not doing any better.Went and baught some sweet corn the other day first picking and it was terrible,very small ears compared to other year's at this time.Almost to late in the season to recover from the lack of rain,

I have been a member of this site since 6/17/2010 and alway's find something to add to or ask a question.Most of my post's are ?'s and alot of time's do not get answer's ,At 37 year's old Im a proud Hunter of OUR GREAT STATE OF NEWYORK.Born and raised/grew up in Dutchess County I have had some very good sucsess hunting this area and since I started,both of my parent's hunted Mom and Dad and they were not only happy but also very sucsessful with there hunting skill's.My largest buck was an 8pt in 1994 and still am very proud of my sucsess since,all of my kill's/harvest's are not up to most standard's of the biggest or what you would shoot but have had a great time and will continue to enjoy my time in the wood's/feild's.My time in my eye's is time worth living for.As alway's goodhunting to you.

Was i wrong our buck tagg is good for the whole state of newyork is it not?Every one might want to keep it this way it sure give's us a better chance at the big one.Could you imagine if our buck tagg was only good for the town or county we live in,This would stop most hunters from even buying a license.Let's all just hunt and most of all get along with each other.

I am not saying you are old but I was told that by my farter inlaw,when he started hunting that all you got was a buck tag.He also said that it could be used for a doe the last day of the season.When did we get so greedy?

This bickering is none sense.If you are not happy with ar's then go hunt in a different area,our Buck tag is for the entire state of Newyork or did some forget or not know this.

The heat is realy starting to crank up again.Hope we get some rain soon I am afraid to mow my lawn cause I cant stand seeing my hard work burn up.

Just tryed my favorite meatloaf recipe.Mixed as if I was going to bake it instead I made into patty's and put on the grill.Out of all the meatloaf that I have had this was the best,topped with gravy and sweetcorn for side dish.2lbs ground beef/ venison 1 onion chopped 2 green pepper's 3 egg's 1half cup seasoned bread crumb's garlic and salt and pepper.Cook about 4 min's each side and they are done.

I still shoot good ole pumpkin ball's/Remington's.410-20-16and 12guage mossberg bolt action's.Buy them when on sale and they work great about $1 to $3 per box is good enough for me.

I realy was not knocking mathew's I just didnt give myself time to get ajusted to it.Sould i say not my cup of tea.I have looked at the new one's and they are not to appealing to me,my old Jenning's has done me very well and that is what I will be useing this fall.It may not be as fast as some of the newer bow's but get's the job/kill done for me.

Now that I had the bow retuned/stringed and have shot a bunch think I will stick to my old bow.Just the Mathew's is not what i am use to.It will be a good back up but not my favorite,very noisy I am glad it only cost me to replace string.I would not buy a mathew's in my opinion they are not that great.
