I'm partial to Chevy. But the gmc's are just as nice if not nicer with fancy interior accents. Crew is a must have and I'm not sure if I'll ever buy anything else. New vehicles are a joke no matter what brand you buy. Some are lemons. Some are gems, but you leasing is a great option to stay in warranty and dump when it's gone. Black / white.... I def like the look of my black better. Just shop around and take the best deal you find ! Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

I know a guy who's more than willing to help with advice and hands on. Granted, he doesn't always have the same opinions as other experienced tractor owners but he's done loads of research and also had learning experiences. Look him up anytime you have questions.@treeguy. Get a 4' if you can, or one as wide as your outside dimension of the tractor. If your doing trails and basic clearing that's all you need. If you were gonna mow big fields you may want to go as big as the tractor can handle. My 38hp pushed a 7' well, but I ended up buying a 5' and love it. Nothing stops it as it's rated at the high end for HP. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Prob not an issue with the brush cutter.... If they have belts, they are finish mowers which are designed to cut grass. Brush hogs have a gear box, with one or two swinging blades the size of the implement. They are the ones that will take down golden rod, brush, small trees etc. Sell that thing and get a brush hog. You can mow grass with a brush hog and take down brush, def a better buy for what your gonna do with it. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Ice water! The only guys/gals who filled the box were in 550+. Nobody had 6 king's. The only 6 fish box's were mixed with steelhead. Tough day for all. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Well.... We sure had a memorable day ! First off, thank you all sincerely for your donations. If you could have seen the tears in the womans eyes who runs "hope for 2" you would have have easily seen how much it meant to her. And that's on you guys ! Now, on to the day.... Forecast : N/NE wind at 5 knots Waves: 1' or less Reality, East wind 6-10 Waves.... well, there were lots of them and they were far from 1'. We bombed out to 350fow and I started setting the 8 rod spread. Immediately took a shot on the rigger and after 2 fantastic leaps out of the water we lost our first fish. Another bite came, "baby" I said when it hit the net yet the girl who reeled it in was freaking out about how big it was.....so we kept it. Meanwhile, one of the other girls had started to fill the puke bucket and was getting worse and worse...so after 28min of fishing, we headed back to port. Dropped her off and as we bombed back out, the lake had picked up. Schlogging through 4'rs would have put us back in the spot in about 1.5 hours so I decided we should just grind out the inside. Set back up in 160fow and started back at it. Water temps were against us. 160fow was 50° at surface and 40° down 35 feet, if your not familiar with what I'm saying, basically we were in horrible water where it was gonna be extremely hard to find em. We lost a few fish today for no particular reason but we were able to get another teen fish in the box. Once time got close I turned us and pointed her towards the harbor and trolled into em. I started pulling lines when a dipsy rod hammered.... This was our fish ! I have never in my career seen a dipsy rod buried halfway in the water, I grabbed the rod, got it pointed up and....SNAP ! Rod popped in half... So I have one of the girls grab the lower portion while I held the top section all the while the drag is just screaming with a mature king on the other end. She battled the fish as best she could but he ended up coming off. Upon further inspection, this fish bent the hook on top of snapping my rod. Laughed about it for a bit, and pulled the rest of the lines. Super tough bite today but the girls had a blast. I was just thankful to be out there supporting a great cause. Thanks again for your support !! Pygmy. I showed them your pic and they were all very, very impressed but when they found out you were friends with me, they bailed.... Sorry pal, I tried. Got some heavy east and north blows this week, so I'm hoping the temps will settle back in. Bite has been ok, not the quantity of last year but a good class of fish. I've seen a handful over 30# caught this year. One almost 40# on the North shore. Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

That's quite a compliment ! Selfishly though, let's not forget I will be out there fishing..... And seeing the look on anybody's face when they hookup with a mature Chinook, is worth it on top of helping out a great charity. Especially some ladies who haven't ever seen a fish over 1# Sent from my LM-V405 using Tapatalk

Fellow members, this year I'll be Capt for a team of ladies in the Reelin for a cure tournament. This is a charity event with this year's benefactor being "hope for 2" which is pregnant women battling cancer. On my team I have a breast cancer survivor and her friends. I'm a bit humbled as I'll be going up against some of the south shores finest, but I'm definitely up for the challenge. I'm hoping to at least get our 6 fish to take the edge off, and then chase the upgrades. My team combined has landed 0 king's in their lifetime so I'm hoping that changes quickly. Regardless, my team " the Reel housewives of Orleans county" and I are all very excited for Friday ! I have started a go fund me to accept donations for hope for 2 on behalf of my team, and I'm hoping if you guys had a few extra bucks laying around you could send it our way. I appreciate it in advance, and know it's going to be put to good use. It will be a shotgun start at 6am Friday, so keep us in your thoughts and cross your fingers for us !
