If its that old to be honest i know nothing about the gun I could be wrong but the barrel fits size looks that of a 20 gauge, and the guy i got it from said it was a 20 gauge so thats what i went on.I just got it because all my guns are new and it looks pretty cool i wanted to restore it and bring her shine back!!Im going to do some looking around.

  9. I know this is a long shot but i just picked up a really old 20 gauge bolt action shotgun. It has no serial number on it no marking from a maker im not shure what it is..My one buddy said they didnt even put serial numbers on super old guns, and my uncle says they do i have to find it.Has anyone ever had, seen,or even heard about a gun like this!!I'm going to try and post a pic up!!
  10. I have a 30-06 and a buckmater scope and i lOVE the setup. When i first bought the gun it had a simmons scope on it witch i didn't really like frm the get go.So i went and bought a bushnell thinking i made a upgrade and the reticle broke couldn't belive it.So i ened up looking hard it to a good tough scope waterproof the hole 9,I ended up with a nikon buckmaster 3-9-40 with the upgraded retcile and its great.I have had it threw rain sleet hail snow and it has never failed me..Good luck and let us know what you get!
  11. Not saying that i disagree but who in their right mind could take a shot at a ground blind and really think their shooting at a deer or any animal for that.I just don't get how someone could be so stupid. It gives responsable hunters a really bad look!!

  19. I didn't figure I could find much facts on it so I didn't lol.But idk i've luckly never lost a deer. The most a deer ever ran eas maybe 50 yards i allways shoot with a rifle and one time some how made a gut shot but it only ran maybe 50 60 yards and other than that they all drop in their tracks. And i've never even shot a deer with a bow but when i do i hope it doesn't get away!I do know a few people that have lost deer with a bow but never a rifle.
