  1. I don't live in Rochester, but saw this story online. Anyone in Rochester that can confirm this? Why Are Murders of Crows Invading New York? | Field & Stream (fieldandstream.com)
  2. Even worse than trying to positively spin all of this destruction, the media will start blaming scapegoats for it. They will tell their clueless viewers others are to blame and misdirect their anger away from the real villains.
  3. Democrats in the White House have now resorted to telling the media what to say and think. That’s right, in Banana Republic fashion, the White House is now directing reporters on what to say about the economic situation in Joe Biden’s America, as was called out on Twitter. The White House demands that media must ignore stunning price increases at the supermarket, jaw dropping home heating costs this winter, prices at the gas pumps that are 50 percent higher than last year, backlogs in the supply chain due to environmental regulation at West Coast ports, and a shortage of critical blue collar workers inside the U.S. Main Street economy due to the vaccine mandate. “Other than that, how did you like the play Mrs. Lincoln?” https://genzconservative.com/biden-media-instructions/?fbclid=IwAR0HpxbIa8baqAjls5o-4_iROtZeysqjlBiVYJYx1U0M5ENePTAST6YZYqY
  4. I'm also tired of it, but I don't think it's going away as long as Biden and the media have anything to say about it.
  5. With all the backlash from the Govs executive order about indoor masks, she has been forced to back off on compliance. Great job NY! None of this tyranny and economic destruction will ever happen if the people won't stand for it. We get the kind of government we deserve. Start voting for freedom.
  6. It seems the video has either not been viewed by some, or has sailed way over their head. It's not about your personal 2021 year. It's about how much of 2021 was misrepresented to the masses for manipulative purposes. Watch it again. It would be nice if the media wanted to make America great rather than afraid.
  7. A CDC panel voted Thursday to recommend the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines be preferred for adults over the Johnson & Johnson vaccine due to a small number of very rare but dangerous blood clots. Out of approximately 17 million people in the United States who have gotten the J&J vaccine, there have been nine deaths from the condition called thrombosis with thrombocytopenia, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices said Thursday. Among those who died from the condition, the median age was 45. There were seven women and two men, all non-Hispanic whites. Among them, seven were obese, three had hypertension and two had diabetes. Two of the patients had no known medical condition. The cases of TTS have been reported in a wide range of individuals 18 years and older. The highest reporting rate was among women ages 30 to 49, where it was one case per 100,000 doses administered. Overall, 15% of TTS cases have been fatal, the Food and Drug Administration said.
  8. This is a great objective look at the year we just endured.
  9. Thanks. Lots of experience and good territory helps. If you know where the deer will be at a given time, that's where you want to be. If you "still hunt", you won't spook deer if you move very slowly. That's the key to still hunting. If you cover more than 100 yards in a half hour, you are moving too fast. Take a step slowly, stop and look around. Every view in the woods changes with each step. The idea is to spot them before they spot you. A compact pair of binocs are good to have too. Keep the wind in your face and only try doing it if the ground is quiet. Otherwise, take a seat and watch your downwind side most of the time. With a ML, when it's empty, stick a small patch of cloth or paper just inside the muzzle and cap the rifle. Snap the cap and be sure it blows the patch out of the muzzle. This insures the rifle isn't blocked. Wait a minute to be sure the bore cools, load powder and ball and cap it. You can be confident the rifle will fire, and that confidence will help you hit that deer when it gives you a shot. Good Luck! And have fun.
  10. Don't ask. They want it sent to the void.
  11. Some people on this site need to realize when I stop responding to them, it doesn't mean they've won. It simply means they are no longer worthy of any of my time. None of them.
  12. There are people on this site that would debate this? Amazing.
  13. I just hiked up to an area at about 2000 ft I knew they were browsing in the late afternoon and sat on a stump. They showed up at about 4:30 PM. Sorry, but I didn't take any pics cause it was getting dark, only had the flip phone with me and needed to gut her and drag her down the mountain. Hung her in the shed over night and did a quick check with a hanging scale. (I don't take pics of hanging deer) The next morning I took her to the butcher cause it was going to get warm. Big doe like that are not all that rare around here. A few years ago a friend took one aged at 4.5 years and weighed 165 dressed.
  14. Not all here are turkeys, but you know who is. Some enjoy a hen pecking party, and feel safe in numbers. Why do I stay? I'm not a quitter. I'll just keep calling out the stupidity that pisses the turkeys off. Getting rid of all the turkeys would be far better than getting rid of the political section, because they're the one's that can't handle the political section. Can't be civil, can't debate, can't be objective or make a case. Why do they stay?
  15. Thanks. She is a big old grey haired girl that was chasing the smaller does away from her browse every time they got near her. She was obviously the dominant doe in that group.
  16. Such negative waves so early in the AM
  17. Honestly, I did it once and am I glad I did, but I wouldn't do it again. It's one of those things that was fun once, but too much work now.
  18. Nah, it's all diversion and whining. Comprehension is lacking here. Guess we're back to the original issue. Stay out of this forum and for you it no longer exists. Keep it, get rid of it, who cares? It's completely insignificant to me. As for why I lost interest in this site, just look at the responses people get on their posts here, and I'm talking about hunting posts. There's more turkeys on this site than in all of NY State. Some people enhance the quality of your hunting experience, and some don't. I tend to dump the latter.
