Pretty sure its a known issue, as long as you have a valid number and datestamp pretty sure you will be fine. Best thing is to cal the DEC and ask them.

It will take a you a few years to clear things up. We had one on our property that I never came face to face with, Its probably better that I didn't. Tore down two stands and chased them in the dark. Funny part is if they asked the right way I prob would have let them.
