    Dead quiet. Too still. Need a little wind. Should be predator hunting. Two nice fox inside of 10yds. Not a hint of deer.

    I have one done with the aggressive pose. While cool at first it has become my least favorite of my mounts. Any type of semi upright or semi sneak with a turn to the head looks better long term IMO. Of course I really like wall pedestals too. Lol

    Dead here too but I just saw a 140s class following a doe at 80yds. Gotta be in it. And hopefully one screws up. Why oh why did the doe go the other direction. Lol

    You hunt near Hansons? I hunted a parcel next to it for several years. Never pulled a good buck out but they were around.

    So glad I came out despite wind. It’s been crazy. Tons of movement. Was surrounded by 3 bucks and 2 doe for like 10 min. One was a 120” give or take 8. Drew and let down twice. Still 10 days of rut hunting to go. That’s normally a no brainer shooter.

    Not as of last pull but it’s been a while.

    Coming back to stand from break and I hear blowing coming at me. Left of the trail a medium sized buck is running straight to me. A bit confused, I nock an arrow in self defense. He veers left at 10 yds and then I see the largest rack I have ever seen live coming over hill on same trail. He stops at 30yds in brush and then veers to where 1st buck ran. It was an awesome sight. Hope he keeps running this area. Wide wide wide and tall tined.

    5 bucks running one doe. One was a dandy but only two came in range and while decent not the dandy.

    At least here, there are strong gusts but it also calms for quite a bit of time in between. Not really that bad
