  1. 3.99! WTF lol its not even spring yet!!
  2. wrong section, go to the QDM area... there are some threads in there
  3. 3.99!!?? Is that for regular? holy crap... It's sickening. The rich do seem to get richer, tax hikes and price hikes in general never seem to bother them. Sad part is for these politicians Who all exempt from paying these gas prices and taxes in general let alone increases are the ones calling shots and if one is exempt from these payouts they can really careless how high prices go or how bad it gets. Fact of the matter is it really doesn't imply to the 500 or so people country wide responsible for calling shots. So really, what do they care I'd they are exempt fr the very thing all of us have to pay out a deal with everyday??? My feeling on the matter is they should ALL have to pay what we have to pay, equal across the board. No exemptions for anyone, but the president. It's sad to see what some people get paid, no caps, the sky's the limit... A superintendent in syossit gets paid 360,000K for what?! the governor doesn't even make that lol. They are trying to cap her and other supers at 179k. Very sad system implemented.
  4. It just seems like we are being conditioned to the rise of prices and then when they do go back down it will be 50 cents higher then when they were stable prior to the jump. i do believe we have the technology, know how and possibly proto types on engines or cars that use 0 oil or fuel but this is they way this country wants it to be. they have total control I THINK and i believe this how they intend things to be. If they really wanted to fix this and make positive steps moving forward, why rely on the middle east for oil still? Why send BORROWED money to other countries to fix and rebuild when this country is in the state IT IS?? Charity starts at home and i am a firm believer on that.
  5. Funny i posted this, i just received an email today from a buddy... Dont know why all the other crap is in the body of this email like size and color. Something to think about! THIS MAKES SENCE? ....GIVE A TRY!!!!!....... THIS IS NOT THE 'DON'T BUY' GAS FOR ONE DAY, BUT IT WILL SHOW YOU HOW WE CAN GET GAS BACK DOWN TO $1.30 PER GALLON. This was sent by a retired Coca Cola executive. It came from one of his engineer buddies who retired from Halliburton. If you are tired of the gas prices going up AND they will continue to rise this summer, take time to read this please. Phillip Hollsworth offered this good idea. This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or May! It's worth your consideration. Join the resistance!!!! I hear we are going to hit close to $ 4.00 a gallon by next summer and it might go higher!! Want gasoline prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent, united action. The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt" ourselves by refusing to buy gas .It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them. BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can Really work. Please read on and join with us! By now you're probably thinking gasoline priced at about $2.00 is super cheap. Me too! It is currently $3.08 at Arco and Costco for regular unleaded in Salem, Oregon and climbing every week. Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us to think that the cost of a gallon of gas is CHEAP at $1.50 - $1.75, we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control the marketplace..not sellers. With the price of gasoline going up more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are going to see the price of gas come down is if we hit someone in the pocketbook by not purchasing their gas! And, we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves. How? Since we all rely on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas. But we CAN have an impact on gas prices if we all act together to force a price war. Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY gasoline from the two biggest companies (which now are one), EXXON and MOBIL.If they are not selling any gas, they will be inclined to reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other companies will have to follow suit. But to have an impact, we need to reach literally millions of Exxon and Mobil gas buyers. It's really simple to do! Now, don't wimp out on me at this point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I am sending this note to 30 people. If each of us send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) ... and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)... and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth group of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers . If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!! Again, all you have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all! (If you don't understand how we can reach 300 million and all you have to do is send this to 10 people.... Well, let's face it, you just aren't a mathematician. But I am . so trust me on this one. How long would all that take? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days! I'll bet you didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you! Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on. I suggest that we not buy from EXXON/MOBIL UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE $2.00 RANGE AND KEEP THEM DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK.
  6. LOL Vaseline? that would prob work... might need KY when they go up even higher lol!
  7. Geno, I have seen some of you posts on other threads and it seems that you really know your stuff when it comes to cars. Loved the videos also. yeah i figured you didnt mean anything by it... and thanks Burt!
  8. I'm not sure you meant that Burt, bu I wasn't looking for car advice lol. I already know my car and what it's capable of. I was just looking for others input on fuel prices. I know you went be sarcastic, probably. But I wasn't looking for car advice here on the forum. I belong to supraforums for years and that's where the car info comes from. But I am glad to see you are enjoying your flex fuel. As long as you are who cares what anyone else says...
  9. Exactly... It's crazy really. I heard that if they started pulling from our reserves it would take 10 years to see the benefits? I'm not sure if it's true but I'm not sure if I believe that
  10. ^^Ancient Aliens... thats how we put a man on the moon lol maybe they do have this technology but they would rather charge up the wahzoo for gas and oil, because they can. i wonder if anyone is below 3.50/gal for regular right now?
  11. i modified my post above. yeah well its equivalent to moonshine. it is moon shine with 15% gas. there are crs also running E100 which is moonshine... but a retune is NEEDED eitherway i slice it, one my injectors are BIGGER and 2 im running a alternate fuel on top pf raising the boost so a tune is with out question.
  12. Of coarse... My supra has turbo the size of watermelon lol. I have a tuner who is going to dyno tune it to e85 He is going to tune it on pump again and also E85. so i will have 2 preloaded maps in my AEM. ive done alot of research on E85. my fuel system is setup for it but will max out at around 650rwhp with my 1000cc injectors. I just bought 1600cc which are good for over 900 and my twin walbro pumps are good for 850rwhp on E85. i will use a good amount of fuel but it will be wayyyyy cheaper for me then race gas. Im not sure how efficient and economical it is for a factory car to use flex fuel but i know for force inducted cars its a very good way to be able to turn the boost up with fuel t the pump and its cost effective in comparison to race gas. my luck is when i am ready to have the car tuned E85 will be over $4 a gal lol :
  13. full draw, read what i wrote. i never said my setup was relative to anyone's on here... and i take that back, its 18 a gallon for C-16 right now. $90 for 5 gallons. when was the last time you ran race gas and what octane? i remember when soda cost a nickle too but those times are long gone. well i dont remember when it cost a nickle lol
  14. i have a drag/street car. the gains from E85 will benefit me on each fill up but thats comparing me buying race gas at 13 a gal. besides gas prices now are around 3.75 for reg around by me and E85 is 2.70 thats a 1.05 difference even if its a minor difference in a regular stock car from the factory it might benefit a driver who commutes to and from work MOSTLY rather the guys traveling long distances to and from work and where ever else he or she drives. fill up will be cheaper but yes gas mileage will be reduced. for my E85 use in my car will save me coin in my pocket by far. To fill up on E85 will cost me on average 35-40 bux to fill up on C-16 will cost me around $700 and wont last me much boost time.
  15. a hike in gas prices also means a hike up in food ect... they get you anyway they can but atleast this boosts the economy. : this is why there are so many foreclosures going on, everything outside ones normal monthly bills are astronomical. Live out on the Island youll know where im coming from lol
  16. i am currently changing my Supra over to E85 rather then spending $400 on like 20 gal. of C16. I just bought 1600cc injectors to use, rule of thumb is 35 - 40% more fuel needed for E85. Cant wait. Id rather pay 2.70 a gal for E85 then use C16 at almost 13 a gal lol. no brainier...
  17. almost $4 a gallon are they serious?! 216 gallons of oil also, 715 bux, WTF is wrong with country? How does that benefit in anyway? raise prices on everything... Its getting out of hand, no caps the skys the limit. I wonder if they thought about lowering this shit so some money can be spent leisurely and mixed back in to the economy. man if fuel prices went down maybe some can get those new guns or bows most of us have an eye on lol
  18. my switchback is set at 72lbs, 80% LO. feels good when your holding it for a minute waiting for that shot. not like those old school bows back in the day. i had a PSE and a Golden Eagle. night / day... what advice did you need bubba? whats your draw length and desired draw weight?
  19. had me going... where did you last see them? ummm i mean....
