i cant believe some guys try to justify that outlook... if its not yours and you have a question whether or not it is state land or private stay the hell off and do your homework on that piece. Find out who owns it and ask permission. you might just get that YES your looking for and now your in there legally and in the clear. Sneaking around in there and getting caught on trail cams or in person ruins it for all of us, we will all pay in the future one way or another, including the guys causing the grief. So just think about what your doing and be conscientious of the land your hunting and your fellow and future hunters things like this may impact. especially on LI, these tree huggers are just looking for every little thing to come down on and blame hunters for so DO NOT give them ammunition to do so.

some guys were just never taught RIGHT from the beginning of their hunting endeavor. Its sad to see... I truly believe when these things are taken away from us we can thank guys like this. i can hoestly see a sign in the woods and stay the heck out, its not mine why should i go in there. it seems to be quit common to see guys willing to break the law or rules to chase a set of horns. ive heard of guys doing some crazy things because they know a big one walks an area. But it doesn't matter how much you preach to guys like this unless caught they will not stop. i want to see him get caught on private land and tell them its perfectly legal for him to be there since its not posted.

exactly... i wouldnt want to bet the guy caught for someone elses goof... but if iwas i WOULD NOT want my equipment jacked from me... id fight the case tooth and nail eitherway but say i lost, i loose my stuff? screw that... id rather pay a fine then loose my gear in which some has sentimental value which will never be replaced...

until your on the chopping block for hunting near bait with out even knowing about it, god for bid... For arguments sake what if you were caught not to far from bait and you had no idea it was there, would feel ok with the fact your equipment might be taken from you for something you did not do? this is a what if and for some guys hunting smaller tracts of private land and guys hunting public land would you find that fair? i think a fine would work... possibly a hefty one but not the taking of your equipment. thats just my 2 cents.

my opinion is, some need to get over the whole baiting thing... If its legal in his state and he chooses to do it who cares... if he was doing it in NY then thats another story. I think its true what they say, HUNTERS are our own worse enemy... Im not the biggest Ted fan but he does speak alot of truth and those who are perfectly fine not hunting over bait then great but its legal in his state and he chooses to do so. not a big deal...

WOW, seems like way to many guys out there doing ALL the wrong things. the exact shit that gives the guys trying to o bide by the law a BAD NAME... Sounds like a bunch of guys adding fuel to the fire for Anti's and just plain and simple making it easier for either more hunting regulations or the banning of hunting all together. hunting is a privilege NOT your right. So take advantage of it and ruin it for everyone. And for what? a set of horns??? gimmie a break...

with the bow? No... i would have let him walk that but thats just me. BUT DO NOT think for one second i am saying anything negative about that buck you shot. Hes a nice deer. i am not saying you shouldnt have shot him, congrats on your harvest. if you took him and are proud of it who cares what anyone else has to say. but it depends how my season is going. If bow seasn was tough then that deer would have gotten it from me during gun season or late bow...
