It'll be after I shot the deer I will drop the bow off at the cabin then grab my gun to go get the deer. So is that still considered hunting

Ive been in the woods all my life. So being out there is nothing new to me. But I still don't like being with out my pistol. Am I still consider archery hunting after I leave my bow at the cabin while I go get the deer?

I carry it all the time. so being with out it is totally different to me. I'm trying to find out if I can carry it when I go retrieve the deer

I'm a new bow Hunter this season. I know I am not allowed to carry my side arm with me while hunting archery but am I allowed to after I take my deer? I'll put the bow away then get my pistol for protection while I drag the animal out?

I'm broke with 1 wife. I can't imagine trying to support 3. I would have to work 200 hours a week.

My opening day was horrible also. We had about 4 trespassers that we had to chase out of my property that were sitting in my favorite spots. I was so pissed it ruined my morning on top of not seeing any deer all day

I say its all part of the experience. People have their own choices on what they want to do the night before. I've been at the bar till all hours of the night years ago and spent opening morning trying to shake off the night before. But now a days me and my hunting buddys just meet up and relax and maybe have a few. Its my one weekend a year that no matter what is going on I can get away from it all.
