Early morning shot the 8pt and early afternoon with the BB. I could have sworn it was a doe because right behind him was a 4 pt that looked at if it was in tow to the BB. BBD! I coulda reached out and touched him he was so close running by. Go figure been trying to get bucks his size to come in during archery and today with a rifle he comes by at 5 yards max. Almost shot the doe he was chasing too. She stopped and gave me a shot but she was a bit small to fill the tag. Congrats to all the other guys and girls getting it done today. What a loooooong boring sit today until the last 5-10 minutes and then holy crap how exciting. Literally the last minute before legal light expired the 10 pointer I’ve been seeing on cams came out in all his glory pushing around 6-7 does right in front of my tree stand. Everything moving too quick to get a clean shot so he lives another day but what a rush. It went from nothing and dead quiet to loud and crashing around within seconds. I’ll get photos too pretty much every day on the major trails but I’m hunting this one spot now where I’ve seen two groups of does go right by 15 yards max from the spypoint and no photos. I checked settings to make sure sensitivity is at the max allowed. Not sure maybe just something up with this model. Good luck out there everyone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Two younger does came in about 5 mins ago. I’ve seen them around this stand usually in the evening with another larger doe. No sight of her anywhere so me thinks she’s found a buck to bed down with. Sorry this is off topic also but anyone use those spypoint cell cams? I’ve got a few of them and thought they worked well but this is the second time I’ve physically seen multiple deer walk past and the camera doesn’t snap any photos. Probably more like 25-26ft lol. I use a 30ft safety rope and it’s just off the ground by a few inches so 30ft minus the diameter of the tree. I find it hard to stay really still so the higher up the better luck I’ll usually have Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well thought I’d see nothing after the ATV bow hunter busted out the whole area but right before dark a nice size 8pt came right in searching. A first for me ever though tonight. I tried to stop him at 25 yards with a mouth bleat and he would have been broadside in between two oaks but instead he tucked and ran when he heard it. No way he saw me 30ft up in my climber and he couldn’t smell me the wind was 20mph+ right in my face. Wonder how that spooked him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Live from the ATV trails is more like it. That clown has come through twice now scaring off two mature does that have been making their way to me for the last 45 mins. Frustrating but here’s to hoping the last 1.5 hrs brings better luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
