  1. RTF, though I was the only one that hunted toms from a blind.... lol..
  2. filled both tags. One a jake, the other a tom with a 9" beard and 1" spurs... i'd post pics, but uh.. don't know how yet... lol
  3. Agree with furman. The key to breaking up a flock though is to have them scatter rather than seperate into groups. If they don't scatter, you wind up competing with larger numbers that sound safer.
  4. A tom with hens is harder. Pressured birds tend to be easy to simply ambush without calling. They start going where other hunters aren't. Find his route and then just wait for him....
  5. ??? ugh, growing up in SW PA, we used to butcher deer for other people as well as ours, probably 50+ a year. Now I am more than willing to pay someone else to do it for me.... Although, there is something to say for making your own sausage...
  6. Hey all, new to the forum. Hunt, fish, and trap in St. Lawrence County mostly. Hunt mostly deer and turkey, but thinking of adding coyote. New to trapping, so far only 1 beaver. Fishing tends to be pot luck with my 3 boys...
