I had surgery on my shoulder when I was 18 ended up with 2 metal hooks in my shoulder. I was out for 6 months in a sling and another 3 months PT. Not something to play with my friend don't ruin a lifetime of hunting for one season.

I never really thought about it but now that you guys mentioned it I do throw mine in my hunting box that's more of an overall catch all for my hunting stuff that has accumulated over the years. Except for the tags that get filled they get taped to the back of the picture that go's into the album book

I love to use mock scrapes and I generally just miss in them however this year I am using some products from code blue. I don't know how much action they have because I am in Jamaica on my honeymoon but I will be back in the stand on Monday to see what kind of progress was made. I am also going to try the overhanging branch trick that's an ingenious idea

Worked late the night before and ended up falling asleep in the stand. Got done hunting and said to myself "well that sucked not one deer". Checked my camera and had 2doe and a buck. Must have snuck by while I was sleeping

He actually surprised me. I had pics of him ripping my camera off the tree but all the pics were at 6:30 pm. I got him with my bow at 10 yards at 8:45 am. He ran roughly 70 yards before biting the dust. He was approximately 300lbs according to the taxidermist and the taxidermist also said his skull will measure close to 18" which will qualify for the pope & young record book.
