I'm going in circles trying to find a lefty bolt action deer gun. In almost any caliber. 30-06 would be great but I'm open to others. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spoken like a true genius...not. I do love guys like you that forget when the long bow guys felt the same way with your compound but that's different right..ahhh not. Some people just need to feel better than huh. I guess I better take my crossbow and hunt in almost every other state that wow let's you shoot any version of a compound vertical and horizontal. Sorry I took so long. No I have no external safety just the rebound safety and I can assure you that it is not safe at all.

Ammo definitely Hornady lever evolution...but on a bad note I own a 94AE angle eject with the rebound safety. It failed on me while loading to go hunt thankfully I practice gun safety. It went into the ground....Olin who owns Winchester arms put out a large Warning in the last issue of field and stream..if the gun is bumped while loaded it can and will go off. That's just a little bit of the warning. So as far as I'm concerned my model 94 is up for sale. Please be careful and don't ever trust that rebound safety.

Bottom line is act like an adult and represent the crossbow hunting community the right way. Our goal is to get crossbows included fully during archery season. So don't go shooting or carrying like a dumbass in the city...some common sense goes a long way. Just my two cents...and yes I live in NYC too.

I'm glad I found this site. I hunt New York and Pennsylvania only problem is that I live in Queens and have no place to go shoot my crossbow since I live in an apartment. My property in pa. is two hours away so I really need to find a place closer to practice. Hoping you can help this new guy.
