My self I only buy ammo off the shelf to get new o nice fired brass. I shoot it up at targets. Then I load my own . But I hunted with guys that have only used one brand , my old boss had to have Winchester slugs for his 20 ga. Or it just wouldn't kill anything.

How many guys stick with the same ammo year After year they buy Remington cor-loc's because That's what dad always used . Or Winchester or What ever. And how many grab a box of the cheapest stuff They can find. Cuz. There gun shoots anything. P.s. and how many roll there own.? And how many guys need the latest Dangerous game/ critical duty/superformance match/ managed recoil/ accutip / SST / GMX spitfire HP.

How many guys have used this round & how Did it perform. Are you still using it or did you switch to something else. Mite give it a try this yr.

I know this is an old post But I use to be a member there They have a nice club . And a 300 yd. Rifle range. I tryed to get back into it last Winter kept running up there To make a meeting and no one was around. They must hold there meeting s some were Else in the winter. Its a long drive for me. So I gave up.

I enjoy 3d shoots with a couple buddys too and the ball bust'n that goes with it.

I miss hunting Bunny's with my beagles. Haven't Seen 10 cotton tails in the last 25 yrs. Or any ringnecks.

What. Type of shooting sport/ hunting. Have you Enjoyed the most. Rabbit hunting Bird hunting Trap/skeet / sporting clays Shooting rats in the dump . Coon hunting Coyotes etc.

When I go to the range I take 3 rifles and one is always my 303 that I just. Put back into military trim. Its a good shooter.

I am sure I am the only person in NY. That has a steyr 8+56 mm. But just in case someone is looking to reload for one I found accompany that makes .329 dia. Bullets . You can pm me. I don't think you will find any at your local wal-mart.

Yup I hear a mate 'e I think I will run it up to the gunsmith and see what he says. The front site sits in a dove tail but its not a stranded one its small. Will come up with something.

Lacoruna one of the most widely Use deer rifles in the northeast. My last two rounds In the 10 had at 80 yds. With a red dot . Never used A red dot for hunting before but I am giveing it a try. And then I tryed my 8+56 out , I have to change the front Sight , I just can't see it , it looks like a pyramid it comes to A sharp point that to me disappears when I am trying to use the 6 o'clock hold. So more work to be done.

I should say or ga. My first gun I went deer hunting with I Barrowed From one of my uncles. #5 Mk1 Enfield 303. Didn't see anything that day. But as soon as I got Out of the service I bought a new mod. 94 win 30 30 . And that is what I got my first deer with. 5 pt.er.

What's the most popular action type rifle/ and Caliber. 303 45/70. Etc. 243 416 rigby. Single shot Bolt action Lever action Pump action Auto etc. I am guessing. By the ammo stocked in wally world and dicks sporting goods. Bolt action 3006. And 30 30. Levers.

Found another great site on this rifle. The big S stamp means it was reworked post 1930. So I got a new one. I thought it looked kinda Shine E. HE HE. And I think it said mine was a Bulgarian and the stocks Were renumbered on bought sides with different No.s the new number under the old no. Some times 3 sets of numbers. That's mine.two on one side one On the other.
