Harvesting will drop the numbers and there will be food for the younger ones. But I get both points. The winter was rough. Not enough food is just not enough food. Hopefully this winter stays the way it is and the yearlings get to make it threw. I think the dog numbers need to drop too! But they don't taste very good that's why I ice fish instead of hunting them yotes! And hopefuly as cruel as Mother Nature is hopefully she has a sweet side too and grows the numbers again!

I think he was trying to say they wouldn't starve if they were harvested.

I would agree that the last two winters have had sumthing to do with it. But I have seen a bunch during bow season. I also did a few spot lighting trips a few wks back. Deer everywhere. Its hard to say. I can tell u this has been a bad season. Even during bow. I think the trickle rut the warm weather has sumthing to do with it also. I can tell u that my trail cams took lots of pics of many doe and fawns that made it threw the winter. But Mother Nature is not very nice. That's a horrible death. Thanks for the vid tho

And for ur question if I'm out here with a bow. On sum of my spots that are to close to a house yes I use a bow. If I had 200acres I would also use a bow still. The deer would still be doing what deer do. But I'm out here with a ML. Closest thing to a challenge with a gun.

Yep! That's me buddy! I do love bow season. Not a bunch of jokers in the woods! But hey I was just sayin to let the deer move natural for a wk. I guess that's not the way the gun hunters do things! Fine. Maybe the other guy is right and the deer will come to my property! I sure hope that's the case. I've already been in the woods for most of the yr now!

I sure hope they do push the deer to my property. I was just saying I think people should let them move natural for a bit before pushing them. But It really don't matter and maybe ur idea of them pushing them to my property will work out! Guess only time will tell

Well mr steveb I'm just as glad ur not my neighbor! I actually get along well with all my neighbors! I help them with food plots and just about anything else I can. And they also help me with what they can. We hunt each other's property when the other is not there. Also keep an eye out for people who don't belong! I mean it's my neighbor. I have to deal with him! And it makes it a better place when we get along! I'm sorry ur not very neighborly! Maybe ur neighbor is a pretty good person! Guess u will never know! Oh and btw there not ur deer! They will prob head to ur neighbors one time or another! Oh ur prob the guy who puts up the deer fence.

Or how about this (neighbor) could be more neighborly and work with is neighbor! But that's not the American way anymore! So let's all post our property and be unneighborly and not get along with anyone cause it's mine! All mine! That's the way America is suppose to be!!! Oh and don't use the (D) word u get Introuble! Look guys I'm not saying drives aren't effective cause I know they are I use to do them. And I'm not even saying not to do them. I'm saying give it a wk until the deer go into hiding. The deer will move normal longer and then the guys that do drives the following week will see more deer. Instead of pushing the deer out of the thicket 10 times a season push them out 2 and there will be more deer in there. And this was not on public land. It was on a property a few over. But must of u wouldn't under stand any way
