    Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!!! Click click click!!!! U guys are all full of it!!! 220 class buck and wouldn't shoot! Guess no body on here has ever done a deer drive! I'd shoot it!

    Well I personal believe just about everybody has sum good points here. I'm going to say that I've killed lots of bucks! Prob 2 a yr for many years! Then started to grow up a bit and relive that it wasn't about killing. It was about enjoying the sport. I get it we have to kill to fill the freezer and its part of this sport. But I enjoy my time in the woods. So for the most part I let the little guys go! I leave them for my sons!! Still waiting for them to take there first buck! Can't wait! But it's about the time in the woods and time with friends and family! So shoot what u want. Big bucks are few and far between. So like lots of others have stated toward the end of bow I'll take a 6 or bigger but has to be last wk! And if I take one with the bow it has to be a big boy during gun. Happy hunting guys!!     Ok guys a little help! So I am at camp. Got here last night. Haven't hunted it in 2wks. This morning I got in stand a bit late, light crept up quick as I was getting ready! Anyhow, walking to my stand down the edge of my food plot and in the 10 years I've owned the property I've never seen a scrape every 10 ft. I counted 15 scrapes in a 100yrd stretch! Is this normal? Or is there a little guy who wants his presents known? What do u guys make of it?

    Very cool read! It's amazing to think we almost didn't have this wonder game to hunt! I sure hope the dec has the correct numbers and keep the whitetail herds that we have healthy and strong for many yes to come! Hope my boys get to enjoy this wonderful sport.

    I had 3 stolen off my property this year. Few wks ago! Scumbags! They really need a way to track these with a gps.

    So if they are all empire apples ( let's just say). And they drop apples for yrs and the seeds grow because the orchard is over grown. Ur saying that the small trees may not be empire? Really? But will they grow apples? And they should be ok to plant in food plot for deer anyhow right? And thanks for the reply

    Well guys I wasn't sure where to Post this topic figured this was the best place. I want to go dig up sum apple trees from my buddy's over grown orchard. Maybe like sum 4ft high trees. I'd like to transplant them down at my camp and maybe a few in my back yrd. I was wondering if anybody has any idea if I can put them in 5gal buckets till spring? Keep them I'm my garage. Any advise would be great. Thanks

    Oh it's back on this yr for sure. I've been slacking too long! Sure felt it this season. Climber beat me up bad! Didn't want to hike far to find the big bucks! That's it! Fat has to go!! Back to running and lifting!! Nice to see I'm not alone!

    Oh man. I hate the ticks. I have to look int the permethrin. I had one this yr dug in. Don't want any more. And I really don't want my sons getting any! Darn ticks!!

    It's nice to see a first timer with a nice success story. Be careful out there. U will learn as u go that there's lots that can go wrong. Just make sure u make it back home to ur 5yr old. I fell out of a stand a few yrs back. I'm ok thankfully. Could have been a lot worse. And I been hunting many yrs 20 or so and I only have 1 nice buck like that on the wall so congrats! Also my 15 yr old hunted his first season this yr. nothing yet but I have to say he's stuck with it well. And my 8 yr old can wait to get in the woods. So hopefully ur 5 yr old will love it too one day. Great story man. Congrats again!!!

    I'd wrap it up and continue getting the lock off! But be more careful! Lucky it was just the finger. And people should get a punch right in the mouth for stupid stuff like that! Why? It wasn't hurting anybody there!

    Ok guys I've been pretty concerned about ticks since I woke up about 3am one morning this spring at camp and had one dug into me. Picked it off and watched for a bullseye rash. Nothing! Thank god. But now if don't even want to walk around in the golden rod and stuff like I use to. My question is for those of u that use the permethrin, where do I get it? I mean can I buy it at like tractor supply and mix my own? Or should I buy the sawyer brand from like dickssportinggoods?
