Bagels are actually one of my favorite foods. I crave them after a few days if I dont have one. Fresh garlic bagel, not toasted, with cream cheese, is my favorite. Worthless bit of info, I know

I feel that way, too. I want to bring my dad soon. I figured all the pics might help others decide if its worth for them to make the trip, or not.

Haha yes, i can hear the commercial now. It was a great day. Whiskey River BBQ Burger i believe it was called. About 10-12 yrs ago we had a Red Robin locally in Orange County, and I would go almost every Friday, enjoyed it that much. Apparently the owner, was keeping more money, and mismanaged it financially, and it closed. Now it is some foo foo nose stuck up in the air restaurant. Shame....so yeah, its always a treat for us. Thanks for the bday wish.

Today was my girlfriend's 30th birthday, and she wanted to gi to Cabela's, and Red Robin afterwards for dinner. We both had never been to a Cabela's, so we both put in for a vacation day about 6 weeks ago, and made a day trip of it. We took the 2.5 hr 120 mile trip over, and we had a blast. We assumed we would have to side trip over to a Red Robin, but coincidentally we were driving up the road that leads to Cabela's, and there was a restaurant that had a red lettered sign that was difficult to read, and I said is that Red Robin?!?! And she said she could read it either, so as we are focusing on that sign, I decided to look to my left. On our left, across the street from this illegible sign was an actual Red Robin! It was absolutely PERFECT. We couldn't believe the coincidence. Anyways, I figured I would share some pics. The trip was worth it just for the taxidermy.

My absolute favorite is the tortilla chips with the salsa when we go out to our favorite Mexican restaurant! I will have more chips, and salsa for dessert literally, as the girlfriend will get the dessert they get for you. I am about to try and grab a chip right out of that pic, haha.

Thats interesting, thank you for explaining. Trulife taxidermy with Bob?
-
Oh wow. We were wondering if the taxidermy work, was typically, sold to Cabela's, donated, or if taxidermists sold mounts that the customer never picked up after completion. Your Impala is/was at the Hartford, or Hamburg store?

Thank you, I appreciate the info. -
Hamburg, PA. I live about equal distance to the Hartford one, and Hamburg locations. I rather drive through PA, so that was the deciding factor. The girlfriend, and I never been to a Cabela's, and it was her idea for her birthday, so we made a day out of it. Well worth the trip, even just for the taxidermy.

Hamburg, PA. I have driven past that one in Scarborough though! I live close to the PA border. It was a real good burger. It had a 1/2 lb of beef, cheddar, whiskey bourban bbq sauce, crispy fried battered onion straws, lettuce, tomato, and a pinch of mayo, which I would ask them to exclude next time. We actually planned to find a Red Robin for dinner, and we were PLEASANTLY surprised to find one in the same lot at Cabela's, great luck for us.
