Biz made me make stuffed peppers, his pic of the stuffed peppers his wife made, looked GREAT. I just winged it, and made my own version, first time making these, the filling is delicious. Looking forward to it. I used ground beef, loose fresh pork sausage, a dry rub in the meat as it browned. I used white, and brown rice, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, and miced garlic. Jar sauce was NOT used. Sprinkled a pincg of mozzarella on top. This is what this thread is all about to me. Getting ideas from others, and having fun with it. Thanks biz, and to your wife.

What's the most redneck thing you've ever built....

My grandpa, in his young days, put a chainsaw, or weedwhacker motor on a bicycle. Grandpa also had a jig setup to cut branches into firewood, with an old electric motor, to a chain, and circular saw blade from a mill. A little fuzzy on that setup from the story i heard. -

Old pools, the side of the old aluminum pools make great tin roofing for wood sheds, or tree stands.... -

Lifted a lawn mower when I was single digits old with my dad....it was fun for us, we always tinkered on things with wheels, and a motor. Had a blast with it. Unbolted the transaxle, and used longer bolrs, with big nuts to stack inbetween the mounting surfaces, so essentially it was a lift block. Front has a big pin, the axle can pivot to keep the front tires on the ground, on uneven terrain. So we built a heavy duty plate, that was longer, to drop the front end down, so it raised the tractor up, same 5" or so the rear was raised. We had to modify the drag link for steering, it was useless due to the angle. I think we had to raise a belt pully up as well, been so long ago. The little front axles, where you slide the front wheels on were extended in length, for use of rear wheels, and tires off an old Yard Machines tractor. We used big heavy duty bolts, this way a large washer, and lock nut could fasten the wheels on. Projects like this really helped me become a great driver in life, i puy so many miles on that thing on the acre we lived on, that there were 2 parralel lines around the wood line, I even made trails through the woods between the neighbor. I had go karts, we built, all kinds of stuff, but we always rebuilt them, they always needed work. This is also why we have issues in this country! Not much bonding like this, or in equivalents to things like this, but i wont derail a fun topic. I used to tear up the yard, and dads friends would say things along the lines of, "doesnt that aggravate you that hes trashing your lawn?" My dad would say something along the lines of "no, it will grow back, but at least i know hes not doing drugs on a stoop, or getting into trouble". That lawn mower taught me to back up trailers faster, and better than a lot of people can drive forward, NOT cocky, simple restating what coworkers tell me. Things like this go a long ways later in life. Side note, now a days across from my dads house, this guy has 11 acres, and a small dirt track with jumps, and the 2 young boys run dirt bikes on it. The father, came over to see my dad, and was asking if the noise ever bothers him, and how he feels bad, and apologizes. My dad told him to LET THEM RIDE as much as possible, because later on, I know they wont rob me. Lol -

Agreed, pretzel bun makes it high folutin(spelling?) Lol

I agree a thousand percent. I am 31, and i remember the bus ride to school. I started deer hunting at a yound age, and loved riding the bus, watching for bucks hanging in peoples yards. You dont see that anymore! It is like everyone is afraid of upsetting others. I always say if you are going to argue with me against hunting, you better be a vegan.

Good god, I might be embarrassed at this point to post my dinner. Lol. I might have to set up some props to distract.

That looks soooo good. Simple but tasty, diced onions are great on grilled ham n swiss sammiches.
-
My dad has a beater to save fuel, and mileage on his truck, and he shot a 7 pointer at my house one opening day. We put the deer in a contractor bag right in the trunk lol.

Oh wow, we too are having wraps. Bbq chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, sour cream, Frank's red hot, in sun dried tomato & basil wraps! Just put chicken in the oven actually. Busy day, and starvinggggggg Rob, and biz, great job, dinners both look tasty. Oh, and biz, the stuffed peppers your wife made, looked SO good, that i bought some peppers this afternoon, to make my own.

Lol, not flaming at all, but for me, I love cooking, and food. It is like a car, who loves cars, or trucks, in which I am the same guy. I like to share food pics in hopes it inspires someone else to try it, and for hopes of seeing something different, that I should try.

That is what I like to see. You firefighters are over looked, you are GREAT people! You are all under appreciated.

I got your message, but honestly I feel you have the wrong member. I cant take credit when its not due. Unless I am mistaken, but I remember seeing the videos. Hmmm

Wrong thread silly That orange juice...you gonna drink that? Looks gooood

I want to try moose badly. My dad had moose, and caribou a few years ago. He said the caribou was to die for, and moose was second best hes ever tried.

Yeeeaaaah that is aggravating. Im a nutjob in parking lots. I probably look like a P.I. i brainstorm what might happen if I park here, or there, pretty ridiculous. I just dont want dings, or scratches. People just do not respect other peoples belongings.
