    cva wolf is 249, cva optima v2 is 399 at dicks both stainless. Both have scopes. Optima has fluted barrel. Any reason I should buy one over the other? It's $150 difference. Both in stock. Want to buy before the weekend. Thanks

    Ok change of plans for me. Gotta pick up my kids from school at 3 so barely any hunting after that so brewing beer will have to wait till tomorrow and I'm gonna head back out into the stand in a few to see if I can surprise a deer that knows I don't sit out there mid day. I went to home-brew store to get a sack of grain and dicks was next door so I took too much time looking at muzzle loaders. I'll start a diff thread with my muzzle loading questions

    If that ever happens I'll be sure to post it here. Well 3 hours saw two nice bucks. I'm cold. Gona go brew some beer for the first time since late last winter. Warm up and head out again this afternoon.

    The same two big guys just walked through the same as yesterday morning but half hour later. Gun range, not bow range. How much are those muzzle thingys again. Now I wonder if the two doe will be as predictable as yesterday. If so they should be here anytime now.

    It looks like everybody is stepping up to the challenge and getting some nice deer in the end of this season. I'll be out there again in about an hour but this morning I can sit a while longer because I don't have to go to work at 8. I'll probably just sit till I get too cold or get a doe and then warm up and do it again this afternoon.

    Wow the challenge wasn't for a buck and doe each day but thanks to silent death and huntscreek today we filled the challenge again. Way to hang in there everybody. Pressures on for tomorrow

    Funny how I shed hunted like mad last year and all I found was a year old one. Other fresh ones hit the ground and the rodents chew them up fast.

    Does it look like last year or this year. I have trail cam pic from last week with a buck missing half his headgear.

    Ok I was able to get in the woods in the stand I shot my buck last Friday. I was going to wait to use this spot out of desperation this weekend but it was the next closest spot from my house. The doe came out here last Friday a little after 3 I think. It still smells like buck in here.

    I thought about calling the town but what are they gona do. I should have taken video of it. It's really bad. Me and a friend were wondering if maybe it was gona blow up.

    I'm scrambling to get in the woods early enough this afternoon. My fav spot behind my house isn't gona work today because a dozer has been around the corner all day and it must have a blown gasket or something. The whole back woods is black smog. It's really bad
