Not sure its for sure a Arsenal rebuild as the stock is marked a such. Most M1’s have been re built at some point im just curious to see if this was rebuilt to use at the national matches at camp perry. There are two ways you can tell the first is by looking up the serial number, then also the drawing number on the receiver leg is marked win-13 at the end Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I bought a new to me garand off another forum and it arrived today. The receiver is a Winchester-13 meaning it’s a mistake that Winchester made and used duplicate serial numbers to Springfield late in WWII. The gun also has many national match parts on it. I’m having it looked into If it’s a actually national match gun. If it is that would be super rare as almost all of them have Springfield receivers as the work was all done at Springfield armory. Can’t wait to find out more about this beauty. She’s real tight and clean and I can’t wait to shoot her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I just pulled the trigger on a new to me Garand. It is a Winchester 13. That means it comes from a period late in the war where Winchester made a mistake and used serial numbers that were designated to Springfield creating duplicates. It shipped out today and I got it at a great price. The guy had no clue what he had.
