Anyone near the Rochester area on Friday? Mortalis is dropping a mere 175 bottles of this gem. The non-barrel aged version was incredible so I can only imagine how good this is. 1 bottle pp limit. Bring friends or pick up people off the streets!

Very sorry to hear about Trico. Great tribute to a great dog! I was a mess saying goodbye to my 16 yo lab, Jake. What helped was knowing that he had as peaceful a passing as I could have given him. When @grampy told me he believes we would meet again one day, I took it to heart. Trico's spirit will be with you always. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

I picked up some bottles at the release when I met Mr. and Mrs. @aboa. So good! From the brewer: "When Charles, Nate, Gerard, and Kramer came to Middletown, we took them to one of our favorite local watering holes, Players. After some joking around and a long… long… night of hanging out, jokes became reality and our collaboration was named. Players is an American Imperial Stout brewed with Madagascar vanilla beans, Fiji cacao nibs, toasted coconut, and Mostra coffee ghost bear espresso. No lactose was harmed in this beers creation. It pours jet black with a beautiful deep tan head. The dynamics of the relative adjunct strength shift as the beer warms and time lengthens."

I find it amazing how my senses immediately sharpen and focus when a deer comes into my hunting zone. The blood is pumping a little faster, but I haven't felt any adrenaline dump or "buck fever" yet. Maybe that's because my limited kills were all on fast moving deer that came to a sharp stop? I didn't have time to think about anything except lining up a good shot. Then again, I haven't had a close encounter with a buck that made me mutter, "Holy F#$&!".

This was actually my first time this year, crazily enough. However, my Dad shipped in from DE for a tag after a 36 month layoff. Good times!
