We travel to Georgia quite a bite we usually take 95 down just to get there usually try alternative routes to bypass DC and Baltimore. Richmond has always been smooth sailing except for the big storm in January we're we were stuck backed up for 8 hours till we manuvered our way out. Virginia is smooth sailing watch out for cops alot of them there. North Carolina is great drive. On the way home we take 95 to north of Richmond then take 15 to 29 to 17 to 66 to 81. We just try to bypass cities at rush hour. Now we get off 81 to hit 287 by Philadelphia to 87 outside of mawtah NJ. Hope you enjoy north Carolina.

Might piss some people off but I go out on land and fill a 71/2 gallon bucket of wild leeks usually lasts me 2 years. I pickle them in Italian dressing. There great with any type of venison .

Spent the week in south Caroline with my wife and two of my grandkids trip and drive all good for you guys complaining of back pain when driving here's a tip stuff a tube sock with 4 or 5 tennis balls and tie it off put it behind your back when driving it really works and you can actually massage your back by moving around on them
Where in south Carolina? Thanks for the tip. Will have to try that.

Just got home from Hilton Head South Carolina, and The Villages in Florida... to come home to cold and a possible snow storm tomorrow? WTH
I now know why The Villages are the place to Retire to.. Talk about heaven and nothing but great fun people! Makes me want to move their now and give up my rural life and slice of heaven up in the hills.. Wife and I and the kids did not want to leave.. Found out my little sensory seeker 5yr old Non Verbal Autistic son loves Disney Roller coasters, same with his crazy 7yr old sister. The smiles were worth every brutal minute of the night drives.. A Lot of miles were put on last week.. To HH two fridays ago, drove to The villages Tuesday, back to HH Friday and Home Saturday night.. Im done with Driving lol
The drive is a killer. We never can make anytime. Stop for gas drinks bathroom breaks. My bad back doesn't help any have to stop and stretch. From upstate near Canadian border to st Simons island ga took 21 hours. But it's really nice one we get here. Glad you enjoyed your trip.

When I lived on Paris island, 150 miles south the cobia fishing inshore was amazing this time of year. Could always catch red and black drum, flounder was great and speckled trout was getting good this time of year.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYou talking like down toward st Simons island and Jekyll Island? Can't wait to do some fishing down there! Leaving on Thursday. Great fishing this time of year hoping to have a buddy take us out but have good luck right off his dock. Keeps us happy and kids have a ball.

We just got over our second bout with covid this past week. 1st bout for our kids. Felt like crap head ache body aches ear aches. Coughing runny nose. Didn't lose taste or smell this time. Severe neck pain from swollen glands. Though it was just a cold. Our son tested positive first then me and wife took at home tests both positive then other son positive next day. Wife could barely get off couch. We're all off quarantine now. There's no contact tracing no calls from health department. Just do the right thing and stay home is all. Hope you feel better.

Early for us up here to go. Usually primetime here is second week of May. Last time I went I got eight quarts of them. I put them with Italian dressing in canning jars and seal with my vac sealer. Goes great with venison tenderloin and steaks.

I have a pit boss electric pellet smoker. Auto auger system. Set it and forget it. Keeps good temps and meats turn out great. Very efficient with pellets. Got mine on clearance as a gift from my wife. Can't wait to fire it up here soon.

haha. Yea I would suggest doing an autopay deposit type setup. This way you're saving/investing $X each month without thinking about it and it's already baked into your budget
Yes thank you that's what I'm going to be setting up on Thursday. Going to start off low at first and see what I have left per month to add to it and wife's ira.

Well son had little league try outs for majors 9-12. Minors are 7-11. He didn't do too well in the cold weather we had. So he didn't make majors. He told us he doesn't want to play minors. So we're on to new endeavor s. This kid lives breathe and eats baseball. Nothing like having his heart ripped out being cut. All is good reality and real life suck sometimes. I'll say it as it is if you don't have a name in this town you ain't going to be nothing. On the positive note he's ready to hunt with dad. Plus we can vacation without hassle of having to be somewhere else.
