  1. The summer b4 my junior year I attended Syracuse basketball camp put on by Jim bioheim. Personally met with couching staff. Bernie fine visited my family asked my family what my opportunity was. Nothing. Had multiple coaches offer to house me to give me the opportunity to but my family was to proud to except a hand me out. My dad a Korean war vet didn't make much and my mom a house cleaner watched me gave me the opportunity for 1300 to attend. Just to cut this short I returned home and realized I didn't have what it took to make it to make millions in NBA lol. I enlisted myself into the army. Best decision I ever made. Makes you grow up quick real life experience. We to to basic at 17 in Iraq at 18 month b4 turning 19 left at 20 after 14 months. Got 21 college credits while serving. Plus took a few classes. Got out and just couldn't go like everything I thought was right was wrong when I took classes back home what I did overseas was wrong. So I left and went out and found a job. Military is a good setup just pick the right mos i picked infantry lol. Wish all the kids there best at college but give the military a thought plus free college afterwards if you want to attend.

  2. Well went and washed my off my car today and hit st Simons island to see a few buddies. Went to pier and picked up stuff from bait shop. Beautiful day sunny 70. Now on beach in Jekyll Island just cracked a cold one. Nice and peaceful on beach. Got buddies coming over tonight he's the owner of condo. Either grabbing a pie from sal's on st Simons. He was a professional boxer from NYC. Or going to hit Tortuga Jack's for Mexican. Life is good.

Looks like my daughter has finally narrowed down her school choices to four or 5.  So we will be trying to tour as many as possible but first up is SUNY Oswego and University of Albany.  Looking like end of march I can line them both up the same weekend for tours.

University of Oswego is nice. Right on lake Ontario. Try the sub shop for lunch it's legit.

He keeps inviting me down.  Just the other day he was talking to his neighbor and somehow my name was brought up…his neighbor knew me from my Massena travels…small world!

(Just arrived home from camping out in west falls….cool view of the “snow moon” last evening….crazy whiteout conditions all the way home!  You picked a nice time to escape!)

We have a few up here on smaller lakes by hour and meal provided plus it's at a bar so they have other food if you don't like entry meal. But that's reasonable perch I've seen over $10 a lb it's crazy people are buying it. Normally$5-$7lb. Inflation lol.

He said he's going to play. Can't wait for games going to be alot of fun. But b4 that my focus is on a Cornhole tournament and drinking beer. Think it's going to be a Superbowl rematch Chiefs-Niners. Both should be good games.

We’ve been in our current house going on 3 years now and I’m finally at the point it’s time to remodel.

I have a big list for this year starting with my dining room& kitchen. Currently it’s 2 separate rooms but will be knocking down the wall to make a bigger room that’ll measure 30x14. They are both exactly 15 x 14 currently.

Then after that we will move one of our kitchen counters and fridge to open up the space and close off the current back door.

In the dinning room will be a new sliding glass door that’ll lead out to a new porch.

All of the cupboards are going to get repainted and new hardware since they are in great shape and high end cabinets.  We are also looking at painting the counter tops with something my cousin used on his and looks great and holds up.

The final main project will be new lament flooring throughout the kitchen, dining room and living room.

As long as money and time willing I’m trying to make a deal with some Amish guys to buy my trees on the property for their saw mill in return to build me a leanto off the side of my garage and reuse my current garage door to keep it closed off.

Then my garage will be converted to our new entrance/ man cave that’s 40’ x 25’.  Wife said she was done seeing dead things on her walls and guns/ hunting gear in the main part of the house so i needed to convert my garage.  Just needs a wall up with new door, some windows and the floor sealed.  Will purchase a wall mounted propane heater or small pellet stove for it as well.  It’s already insulated. And I will work on each wall one at a time until it’s done.

It’ll cost a lot but I’m doing 90 % of the work myself so I’ll save a bunch of money that way and most are 1 or 2 day jobs.  Also buying a little at a time and found a discount place out of Rome to get doors and windows that are pretty much brand new for cheap.  Also have a bunch of good friends who are willing to help. Especially the man cave part.  I’ll post before and after pictures as I go.

Lots of projects like I said b4 if you need anything let me know. The snap together vinyl flooring is easy once you get going. Leveling and getting everything squared when I did it was a pain with a old house because nothing was square. Can't wait to see it when it is done.
