  1. As for a low number of birds around cayuga lake, I beg to differ. I hunted the whole first week and we put down well over 100 birds in the aurora and union springs area in 5 days. Seeing well over 5000 birds a day. Also saw a large number of snows towards aurora the first week but they disappeared the last couple days with this cold weather we got.
  2. I've used a couple different brands of scents with not to much sucess. Anyone have any suggestion on estrus scent or any scents for that matter?
  3. Any suggestions on what brands and what to look for in a new one?
  4. The bow has let off, not sure how much. I've been to cabelas shooting bows and found a couple that felt good. But I just can't pry away from old faithful. She's still quiet and deadly
  5. Not to sure if I should keep my old bow or buy a new one. I have a old hoyt heat which was a great bow..... back in the 90s. Everyone calls it the dinosaur, but I love the bow. I've updated it with new sights, sting, quiver, rest, stabilizer, so she has the newer technology on her. I can hit anything out to 45-50 yards with her, but a part of me thinks its time for a new one. People laugh at me when they see it. Yeah it doesn't shoot 315 fps but I'm darn good with it. Looking for some opinions?????

  11. Nice buck, big body. Hopefully we see pictures of him on the ground next
