Again, I didn’t suggest that. I suggested 4 counties. If you don’t want to google around I can’t help you. But the point is, there are LOTS of gunsmiths locally. Carmel, Brewster, Yorktown, Danbury, etc.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkYea I got the gun in carmel I ask the owner of the gun shop when I picked it up guess what he said he doesn't no any gunsmiths . IM .sure there out there somewhere. The last time I had something drilled and taped by a gunsmith was in Greenwich ct and he is not there anymore .

I get it raises the point of aim, but duct tape is NOT a permanent mounting solution. If you don’t or can’t see how it’s a bad idea, have a good night..
Hard to explain anyway I'm going to have it done by a gunsmith when I get chance .

So what holds it on ?
All it does is raise the point of aim . You never wrapped something with duct tape before there is nothing to move .

Google would be your best bet. Putnam, Westchester, Fairfield (CT), Dutchess, etc. I bet there’s a ton within 1 hour of you
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkMaybe Dutchess not going to NYC or long island for that hate driven there and especially to drop off a gun

No , but at six I knew to end a question with punctuation. Your posts are moronic and I truly hope that no new hunters read and put any value into your hunting techniques, if you actually even hunt. You are either an evil genius trying to get a rise out of ethical hunters or possibly the dumbest person in the woods.
Go away kid .

Dont get sucked into the vacuum. Don’t do it. I implore you Rob.
Those places you saw I wouldn't bring anything there there in NYC or right on border . And rather drive to pa and get it done there .

That’s one too many times ..
All it does is raise the point of aim people hunt with just front bead sights all the time nothing new there really is nothing to bump on that .

I have no beef with you, but you owe it to the game you hunt to make a clean and humane kill. A taped on sight is not what I would consider respecting your game. That sight may be dead on at 50 at the range but walking through the woods or heck just bumping it with you finger can throw it off. You say you have other guns then use them. Your not being a responsible hunter using that, you should see that ..
I have been only used that once this year

Or you could lift some weights and carry a half way decent shotgun at a whopping 5.5lbs.

Shhhh - highly guarded secret.
Apparently so if the owner of the gun store I picked up the shotgun at doesn't even know one .
I used to know one in Greenwich Connecticut but the guy is not there anymore and that was about 25, 30 years ago

Even a 1000 acres wont hold a buck down. Nice to have a couple hundred acres but totally unnecesaary to kill quality deer. Id take a quality 30 acre peice over a 300 acre mediocre piece any day of the week.
Yea agread That would mean 30 acres around maybe hundreds or thousands that almost nobody hunts .
How are you going know that before you buy such a place that is what he needs to know .
The seller will just blow smoke up your ass tell you what you want to here so that probably not going to work .

Buddy I currently have 30 acres and I understand that. That’s why I asked the question about land I did yesterday I’m looking to go a little further from the city in a better WMU and buy close to 100 acres why comment when you don’t know shit about the situation
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHey go for it all I know is My cousin did that got 100 acres with nothing around but farm land
This place and he still don't shoot no giant bucks off that property
Canajoharie, NY
You need hundreds and hundreds to really do the trick .

So here is a question I agree completely but let’s say I have a 30 acre piece of land and in one season 4 deer get taken, am I killing of my resident does and then next year the bucks will be chasing does just not My does because they are gone ?
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI think if you really want some land to buy for good hunting .big bucks and lots of does you need hundreds of acres . With few neighbors that hunt around you
30 acres probably not going to get you the results you are looking for my friend. I have family that tried that They don't get huge deer .
