  1. Pennsylvania has had some piss poor auctions .Our fur don’t compare to much of theirs either ,especially if it’s Southern PA fur .It still gives a good picture of how cheap fur is though .
  2. Still a good weight for a coyote
  3. Very nice .just got one in the back yard the other day .
  4. I don’t “give my furs away”LOL .It’s tough ,I sold many Fox in the $ 15-30 range over the years .But when averages run $10-13, id rather keep them and market them another way .It’s hard just to not trap due to low prices ,so that’s out of the equation a bit . Hopefully we get some what of a fur market going again ,you can only sell so many tanned furs and gift them to so many people .Much easier sending them to auction ,or bringing to a country buyer and getting a check ,and their out of my hands.
  5. That’s why I don’t predator hunt LOL .I’m much more efficient trapping them .
  6. I sense some sarcasm there lol .I don’t believe they all travel like that .Lots to factor into it imo .Food,Breeding ,territory, ect. Most coyotes I run across during season don’t travel too far .
  7. No,many collared coyotes do show a similar pattern believe it or not .
  8. Doing a 3 1/2 car garage ,which will double as a fur/deer processing area .I’ll be eliminating the attached garage and knocking out a wall to create a man cave /theatre room .Wife bitches at me to at least finish one project before I start another LOL.
  9. It’s nice not having to deal with 3 ft of snow at this point .
  10. I just checked Sullivan to Springfield is 66 miles .So that thing put some miles on
  11. Unsure of the overall total .But the guy who caught it said 2 specific dots were over 80 miles apart .Not sure exactly what points he was referencing though.
  12. Got Damn it’s cold out there .Still wondering what’s wrong with me and why I do this stuff lol.Conditions couldn’t be any better for a k9 trapper .Frozen ground (easier access)and no snow +Prime (worthless)furs (had one double)
  13. Sorry to jog old memories lol
  14. Just seen this posted .This Coyote was tagged in March of 21 .It shows the travel pattern of this particular dog .This was a male that weighed 39#.This is why it’s hard to eradicate coyotes in a specific area .The GPS sent location every 90 minutes .
  15. That was either photoshopped or a hybrid wolf/dog .Sorry Zeek, not trying to derail your thread
  16. This is the “coyote”.lol.If someone can bring me 1 coyote over 50lbs ,I got $200 for ya .
  17. Accidentally erased what I wrote .Anyway ,Coyote weight is generally for me 35-40 lbs .usually kill 20-40 a year .Very rarely have I hit the 50lb mark .A top weight for Coyote is around 46-48 in NY. How many over 50 pounds do you shoot a year ?
  18. This is how I was taught when I worked for a tree service many years ago .
  19. Nice size yote .Funny how many times a year I see guys catching “50-60lb’ers”
