is the ice gone?

Can any of you southpaws near the cannonsville or papacon reservoirs let me know if the ice is gone yet. I'm thinking of making a trip down next week or so to try for some browns.

I'm near the Pepacton and drove past it a few days ago. Though we're in a little three day cold snap, it has been warm here and I'm not sure I would venture onto the ice.

I don’t mess around with ice. I want to fish the shoreline when it melts. I’ve read the brown trout cruse along the shoreline early season when it first melts.

Misunderstood. I think you might be okay. I'll be driving by the Pepacton on Thursday near Downsville and will check it out.

Pepacton is ice free.
