nyslowhand
For those of you that follow Alsheimer's predictions for the rut, don't believe his is out yet. This link should be very similiar to his; http://prohuntersjournal.com/article/?a=27 Now throw in the weather trend that states throught Halloween it'll be warmer & drier than normal. Usually read this every year for informational purposes only. Interesting reading, but....

Thats when i see evereything and have had my best luck. May be only b/c those are the primary days i hunt also.
Buckstopshere
On any day, or couple of days, I've seen the rut dead. There is no particular day or days that are always good no matter where you are when hunting the rut. The rut varies too much. If you hunt enough between Halloween and Thanksgiving in our neck of the woods, you will find any given day dead, and any given day in that time span...smoking hot at a rut peak.
