Dom
I have been cutting down some tree's and will be puting a garden in come spring. My question is what should/how to deal with the tree stump's,should I rent a grinder or split them and burn them? not sure how to do this in my opinion burrning them would be best.I know that i will still have to pull root's but that is the easy part. DROK0352
I'm fortunate enough to have a dad that BUILT a grinder for our JD4200. Grinding is the way to go IMO. It will take care of most of the roots too. If not, I believe--but not 100% that there is something u can put on it to make them decay faster (lime or nitrogen I think) cut them as low as possible bit then stake the area so u don't trash your root tiller or discer....good luck Edited August 21, 2012 by DROK0352
