NY Region 3 Trapper
Have a couple of hours to kill on friday. Would like to fish freshwater in the City of Kingston area, not sure on any public access spots. I'll be traveling up from New Paltz so any other area in between would be good to. I'll be fishing from shore. Edited August 8, 2012 by osbourne

NY Region 3 Trapper
Well my fly fishing gear is not reachable by friday. So I'm thinking the Esopus but I'm not sure of any where to legally park. Not seeing any other areas. Maybe Onteora Lake off of Rt. 28. Just don't feel like standing in marsh lands. NY Region 3 Trapper
Ended up at ontereo lake with my crawdad boat. What a let down. U need at least two people to haul your boat to the launch. Kind of surprised the launch was boxed out with boulders. There's enough room to allow vehicles to back up closer to make it easier. insanejstr
Where are those pulloffs? I went over the tracks just today, and saw no legal pulloffs???? That spot just further up on 9W is littered with signs proclaiming private property. Any other ideas I live in Lake Katrine and would love some new fishing spots

Big Indian
few pulll offs along 28, make a left just past the boiceville inn, you may need the dep permit?? also just past town hall in Shandaken, also under the bridge in Phoenicia. 2 spots on Old 28 in Shandaken make a rt off 28 just past fire house drive 100 or so yds on 42 then left on Old 28 (cr 47) both on left about 1.5-2 miles down
