Top ramen
Well, I am from Broome County, NY and have hunted with my father and borther for years. We typically hunt bear every fall near Inlet, NY. I moved to OHIO by way of: Alaska, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and Oregon over a 4 year period. in 2003 I settled in Ohio where I hunt with a crossbow and muzzleloader. I return to NY for the bear trip and would like to extend my deer season by travelling to western NY as Ohio has a very short deer season, unless you bow hunt, of course. ASP and surrounding areas interest me. Luckily, I purchased a lifetime sportsman before leaving the state. Big money saver..

Sogaard
How does one specifically bear hunt without baiting? Burn honey 1.5 onces at a time? EDIT: Upon rereading my post, I just wanted to clarify that I'm not implying anything, I'm genuinely curious because I still have not been lucky enough to see a bear in the woods (in season at least). Top ramen
I believe beaver castor can be stored in 1.5oz containers. You then get some buddies to walk by your site and dispense their scents on your sight. If you get 85 of your buddies X 1.5 ounces, a nice 1 gallon mess of scent could be applied. The trouble is getting one of them to help you drag the beast. Moose River Plains. I love it. We have hunted at the end of the road, Indian lake (the other one near muskrat), otter brook site a few times, middle moose where trailhead to beaver lake is, and mitchell ponds access (the second one). My dad had a shot at two there. I have never seen one but can step in the piles though. I saw a Moose near Otter brook once. Drank from the spring at mile 6. Fun place. Very secluded. I took a girlfriend back there years ago for camping and her eyes kept getting bigger, and bigger. She started to unlock the door, until she saw another secluded car camper.
