ya moved to the wrong place for big bucks...LOL. No kidding aside here. I'd travel upstate a ways and see if you can find some small tracts and ask permission to bow hunt. Some areas have a real problem with deer population and would be happy to give you permission. It may take a while and it may not happen this year.

Another good area to check out for bow hunting is in Ellenville area of Ulster / Sullivan County. Route 208 north off of Route 17. Travel down to Route 52 i believe and make a left around the resevoir, make a right at the high school and follow up to Moores Hill Road, Huge chuck of state land, no doe permits allocated in this area so there are a lot of deer (legal to take a doe with your bow). I hunted there for many years. Also turkey, bear, bobcat, coyote all legal. It itfairly hilly and doesnt get pounded bow season...gun is a different story.
