Stand Question

I'm looking for my first deer with a bow after 3 seasons. I have a stand on the corner of 2 intersecting trails. I have a trail camera set up to take pictures down the trail in front of my stand. I have consistently gotten photos of deer coming each way down each trail at all times of day. I'm not sure how I should be factoring the wind and my approach for opening day because they come from all directions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a couple like that. Both have a couple different approaches.

I try to use the one where I am walking most into the wind that day.

Try to not tough anything on the way in and leave as little scent as possible.

Get set up as quickly, but quietly as possible.

Both are consistent providers, but can easily be over hunted.

Usually will do back to back (ei night and next morning) and then stay out a few days.

grab some windicator and use it the entire way in and use a "drag rag" itll mask any extra, just be cognisent to not "flood" their bedding areas or feeding areas

Wait till we get a drizzley light wind day ( shouldn't hv to wait long) the rain will wash your scent before the deer have a chance to smell you. Or just hunt it one time. You may find you will still see the upwind deer.
