Unbaitable bears

We are in a county that the bear population has risen considerably in the past couple years. We are unable to bait bear, so how do you go about hunting them?? We have actually shot a couple during archery, but we just seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Any suggestions???

A buddy of mine got this guy of trail cam about 2 miles from our camp.

That is feed for the deer you can feed the deer up till Sept. 1. My buddy didn't know he was there, he just showed up on the cam.

In Ny some use scents to get them to come in if they know they are in the area, don't know about your state though.
