while out turkey hunting i saw these two yearling's. when they first came into view they walked around for a bit and then layed down in front of me at about 25+ yards. after a bit one of them got up and just for something to do i grunted at the lil he/she? this deer never ran off and as far as icould tell could have cared less that i was there. what happend next totally floored me. this one deer decided to come to me and see what was going on. now keep in mind at one point i was not only smoking a cig but also trying to work a cammera but also on a two/way telling my brother what was going on. totaly amazed at how curious a deer can be.post-2493-0-84101000-1351369584_thumb.jppost-2493-0-54499900-1351369630_thumb.jppost-2493-0-70127700-1351369679_thumb.jp

Fawns or yearlings?

i tend to think yearling's just for the fact of the size of them. evean at 15 yards they had good size to them along with a long snout instead of a short and rounded one. im not a deer biologist by any stretch of the imagination but i have seen fawns during early summer mowing (hay) and these two were not quite the same size... just my opinion.
