Repaired arrow

So this is my first US made arrow. From another thread, some people seem to prefer to buy American over overseas. I'm proud to say that this USA made arrow belongs to me.

However, I didn't purchase it. I repaired it. My buddy accidentally shot this arrow into a rock, and broke off the front inch and cracked an additional inch. Being new to the sport and anticipating breaking arrows myself, I wanted to see if I could repair it. All I'm missing is a nock and some glue for the insert.

So does anyone have any broken arrows they'd want to donate for me to fix? Anything over 25" of fixable shaft and parts is welcome.

Predate, appreciate the concern, and probably smart to cover yourself in regards to liability(who doesn't these days in the good ol' USA). I haven't taken an electric microscope to it yet to determine hairline fractures, but I did visually examine it and cut away as much as I felt it was safe. I'll be extra cautious when I fire this bad boy or the first time. I've seen photos of how bad things can get when carbon explodes. Trust me when I say I don't want to be another statistic there. Appreciate the feedback anyhow.

I guess you folks are take this arrow repair pretty seriously, I'll have to reconsider using it.

My draw is 26, and noticed that at 25, the arrow rests right in front of the rest.

I guess I'll just have to admire this arrow instead of actually using it.

Thanks for the input from everyone.

I had an arrow that just had a slight bulge in it at the tip from impact pushing the tip back. Local pro shop said to toss it as if it had stresses there, it most likely had them elsewhere and could likely self destruct with use. This would be possible injury , or "dry fire" damage to the bow, not worth the risk I guess.
