Rage Broadheads and Crossbow

I have a Wicked Ridge Invader. Its shoots a 500 gr bolt at 325 FPS. I want to use my Rage 100 gr two blade heads that I use for my PSE compound on my Xbow. Rage tells me that I should buy a set of Rage Legacy Lock Collars so the blades dont pop out due to the radical crossbow speeds. It doesn't seem logical to introduce another moving part on this. Anyone have any experience, are they just blowing sunshine up my kilt trying to sell me more stuff???

I didn't believe in the shock collers either till I bought a new package of rage & they came with them

they do work great in keeping the blades closed till they need to be opened I am purchasing them for the rest of my broadheads now

using the collars last week going through some very Narly stuff I never had one blade pop open

when I took my buck later in the week it worked as it should

I don't use machanicals so have to ask whats a shock collar?

It's a little plastic ring that goes around the blades. At impact is sheers off.
