TreeGuy
Thats pretty much it.... never enough time!!! This will be my last night sit with the bow ( unless the boss gives me a day) and with some of the biggest bucks on camera i really feel behind the ball this year ! Not to much pressure around my area for gun season but not having to many encounters with the big boys makes me feel they may have found other turf to stomp. I usually have alot more time in the woods and im not happy about it. I know its far from over and my land becomes a safe haven by muzzle....just too damn long to wait!! Movingmy stand a bit tonight when i get out in hopes for some crazy rut activity sat... good luck to all those that can hunt this week in SZ!! arrow nocker
i have only 2 more days.It sucks.I have been on watch every day for the past 3 weeks.most time in the woods ever in archery. And only had one little guy and a few smaller ones within range. Can't shoot does on this ground either. So all this time off work and i didn't get to get a nice one yet.At least i have mon and tues morning. I think i have a curse against me from some deer god.I try to pass on the little guys and it never pays off.Just end up with tag soup. Then the next yr i can't hunt that location and i go on to passing small ones at the next.Only big bucks i ever had come close to my stand got pulled away by a doe beyond my control or doing before they came into my lanes.UGH. WNYBuckHunter
Im done with bow for the year as well. Lots of frustration, but some awesome hunts none the less, and one doe in the freezer as my very first opening day deer for any season. Im bummed it ended on a bad note for me, but thats how the cookie crumbles sometimes. Bring on the guns!

arrow nocker
well rant and raving:i hate the time change.Lets keep it the same.then i can get up normal time and have that extra hour at the end of the day when i get off work. And why is it always hot on the days i can hunt ALL DAY?Or when it is a nice day i get an emergency call while everything in woods is going like mad?
