Two weekend walks again, one with my boy and one solo. TON of sign with my son (buck and doe shat everywhere) I thought for sure we were on to something yesterday but no luck.

Today I went back to an area i wanted to search hard. Found the herd...20+ deer. All look pretty healthy but I am starting to wonder about this area. Very few sightings of buck shat and the deer I was seeing a close range did not appear buck-ish. Any tips to recognize anterless bucks among a herd?

Spent another three hours on some new public land yesterday that has a hue deer population. Scoured this place loaded with sign, walked field edges and nothing to show for it.
