STATE OFFICIALS WILL VISIT THE ADIRONDACKS, SOUTHERN TIER AND WESTERN NEW YORK ABOUT NY SAFE ACT TOMORROW!

We urge our members to attend these meetings if at all possible.

Albany, NY - Teams made up of members of the New York State Police and Division of Criminal Justice Services to visit communities across the state starting this week. The teams will be available to meet local law enforcement and answer questions from New Yorkers regarding NY SAFE Act.

Wow! talk about a short notice. I suppose it probably should be noted that this sounds like an information issuing session, and not an information gathering session. It doesn't sound like an activity designed for receiving opinions or arguments. Am I wrong on that?

They are probably going to state the law and answer questions about the law. We should still try and show up and question for discussion on this whole matter, not just the law. They need to feel some type of passion from us.
