MACHINIST
What a F***ing joke that was.1/2 of the questions asked were answered with a "I don't know and call this number friday" which ended up being said so many times some people in the audience were answering that question with the friday answer for him before he could,or they simply said I don't know. They also didn't want to talk about the political side of things AT ALL!!!I can honestly say one thing,if you thought the NY SAFE ACT was thrown together before, you would have gone crazy at this meeting. These twits dont know what the law is and are throwing it together as they go forward.Keep writting your state officials and fight this its still not to late!! LIke I said, why do you think it was in the middle of the week on a work day? They wanted minimal attendance, not having a clue or answers to the questions is Why. But hey they get to say they held a public meeting and the attendance was small so apparrently no one is too concerned. Just another political scam like always. Doc
As I said in the last thread that contained one of these "invites", these are meetings to tell you how it is, not meetings asking for input. These are Cuomo meetings. He's not interested in hearing your opinions. He is dictating the terms of his law ...... period. Anyone being too persistant or boistrous with asking the wrong questions? .... Well, he has the muscle at the meeting to take care of that situation too. Regarding the fact that they don't know much about the details of the law, well, that just demonstrates what happens when you ram a half-baked, rushed, ill-conceived, law through the system in an attempt to screw as many gun-owners as possible.
