Turkey Hunt Film

Hello Folks,

My name is Colin and I am new to the forums here, so I apologize and let me know if I am posting in the wrong place. I grew up in Ohio, and my family are both hunters and gun enthusiasts. Now I live here in New York and I make documentary films.

I am writing because I would like to make a film about a a spring turkey hunt this May 2013. Specifically, I would like to find a father or mother who is taking their son or daughter out turkey hunting for the first time. I am sure many of you can remember your first hunt, and I thought this would be a nice moment to capture in a short documentary. Maybe you are taking your son or daughter this year? Or maybe you know someone else who is taking their son or daughter? Or maybe you know somewhere else I might post or other ways I may get in touch with folks?

Thanks for your support Joe. If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to let me know. I should also say that I am not entirely set on filming this turkey season, but I am open to upcoming deer hunting or other seasons as well. Thanks!

I take my son out with me every season. Unfortunately at 9 hes still too young to hunt in the states eyes. I remember my first turkey hunt and he remembers his first time out with me. I cannot wait until the day he can pull the trigger on a gobbler! I hope someone on here can help you out!
