This am I heard one faint cackle...so I sat in my tree stand and decided to call...I use my natural voice....16 dropped down on 5 deer I was watch ...just 28 yrds away....we talked back and forth for a bit but they went into some grape vines a mere 13yrds away and would not come out for a shot ...but did I ever get one hen ticked off ...and she let me know it!...What a blast! ;D

Nice cool or cold nights will fire them up the following morning some time. Visual scouting rainy overcast days ,fields and openings are good hangouts. Windy days check down in bowls or good windbreak areas.
