need help ...new to plots

I'm wondering where I should buy lime for about three acres of food plot....are there different kinds of lime too? Thx guys

Bulk lime is way to go if you have a spreader or can have it spread, local agway, farm supply or mill may be able to supply it.

like gman said bulk lime.  If you have access and can find someone to spread it is the less expensive.  get a soil samp done first and see what you need.  I like to plant plow down crops for two years to build up the organic matter in the soil but not necessary.

What county are you in, might get some contacts of folks who spread lime if we know your general area!

Live in Genesee county. But will be planting in cattataugus county

Yukon,   I used this guy about 3 years ago..... he needs good access to the plot and brings around 12 ton at a time.
