1000 Yard Range

I don't know if this is the right place for this post, but I will take a shot in the dark. My club has a 150 yard range , and is about the longest I know in the area. I would like to get out to six hundred or a thousand yards. Anybody know of a place somewhere around orange county , or milford PA area ? I heard of one out past Milford PA but can not find the location on the net. I would prefer if its public as I dont know how often I can make the hike if it is far away. Any words from the wise ?

I've heard a guy is building one in Treadwell, near Delhi, NY.  Rumor says it will be leased by the day for $200 and you can have as many shooters as you like.

There will also be a dirt road along the side to drive to the target to check your shots.

I don't know if he has finished it yet though.

I am betting any public range might never set up for 1,000. Imagine some of the yahoos on that and the backstop size you would need. The liability would probably be crazy. I haven't seen anything over 300 that i have been around
