Besides being busy trying to play catch up ...thanks to the weather...and now the DR. final after17yrs died....It's just been too dang hot and buggy....Deer flies are about killing me....to get my stand work done.

I have two new ones to put together and take out some where and at least two new ladders to build and a couple of stands to repair

How are you all out there fairing?...I usually have mine done by now

PS...doesn't look like my new card board blind will get done this year...we'll see

Thanks for the tip...I'm allergic to Deet and have a difficult time finding stuff that works well..or for more than 20 mins...Even in this heat ..

.I have to wear long pants tucked into socks...long sleeves and a big rimmed hat....the bug actually bounce off the hat non stop ...until they figure out to fly under the rim and usually up under my sun glasses...but it's the bites through my shirt on my back and shoulders that are killers!

The "Bugs" have been just terrible this year. Believe it may have something to do with all the moisture. The little B'S land and bite right between the shoulder blades as I regroup in the shade.  By the way thunder shower happening as I speak, adding to more.  Glad the first field of hay is in the barn. Saw a nice yearling buck feeding on clover regrowth just 15 minutes ago. A reminder of 2 wood stands that still have to be relocated, and awe yes, that cardboard stand,( thank you very much, LOL) that will be built during bow season, the way I'm going this year.
