sampotter
I bought this tote/storage box at Home Depot the other day because my current hunting clothes box is stuffed, plus this new one has a gasket already around the top. After I bought it I realized my bow would fit under the lid. I spent a couple of hours on is yesterday and here are the results. The only points of contact are 1) the pieces of rubber (used milking inflations) that are screwed to the 1" pine, 2) the strap that secures the bow and 3) the 1/4" bolts (covered with rubber tubing) that protruded through the lid and match the holes in the riser. Holds the bow rock solid. The box is very spacious- I had to climb in it with a flashlight and close the lid in order to mark the lid clearance and I'm 6', 195#. I also added a removable storage tray for little stuff. The only thing left to do is put some wheels on one end and she's done.

sampotter
Nice Job....How much Gear can you fit in there? A-freakin'-lot. It will easily hold all my camo (ghillie suit, scent lok stuff, smaller stuff), my Tree Saddle, Guido's Web, etc. I keep my boots separate as I like to put them on a boot dryer between use. That would be a good way to support my hunting habit though!
